Cream chipped beef on . . . toast, mashed potatoes, noodles, rice, tater tots, country fries, french fries, hash browns and almost anything!!!!!

Creamed hamburger or sausage or . . . even tuna can be “creamed” and used as the texture in the white gravy.

Tradition calls for white/country/etc gravy but I have used the powdered brown gravy with outstanding results. I prefer using crumbled hamburger with the brown gravy. Mashed potatoes or noodles are the typical recipient of the gooey concoction plopped atop the mass of carbohydrates.

For the lazy cohort Stouffers offers a decent frozen offering that can be microwaved in its plastic pouch or placed in a pot of boiling water. Here’s a hint for the slow-minded mob; during warm weather use the microwave to avoid adding too much excess heat to the habitat. During colder periods use the boiling water to assist with heating your hovel and adding some moisture to air dried out by your heating system.

The Web offer a trillion or so recipes for creating creamed whatever. Damn . . . there are even creamed peas!! Simple folks will declare all these vittles are just things with gravy on top. Technically they are correct but us highfalutin gourmands prefer to differentiate between simpleton slop creations and our tasty delights that provide palate pleasure when meal-time arrives.
