The power of the Web and the quality folks placing content upon it has solved the mystery that has baffled me for years. I now know why I am unable to buy a box of the breakfast cereal with a unique taste that made me giggle with glee with every spoonful plopped into my mouth and savored with delight as I munched munched munched my way to the bottom of the bowl.
Team was tasty!!! A unique taste that kept me searching, seeking, walking up and down the grocery store cereal section aisle repeatedly looking for that box of Team that I now know did not exist. Sigh.
I am unable to understand why such a delightful-tasting breakfast cereal did not sell well enough to remain in production. Maybe production costs upped its price so as to not be competitive. Maybe it is but a small minority of quality tasteful folks that savored Team’s yumminess that led to too few sales thus its discontinuance. The consumer will likely never know but we can express our sadness at the passing of the mighty Team cereal.
